Ledger Under Attack: Fake Emails Steal Users' Crypto Wallets
ledger, scam, security, seed phrase, phishing

If you’re a Ledger wallet user, be extremely cautious. A new phishing scam is making the rounds, and it’s targeting crypto holders by impersonating Ledger — one of the most trusted hardware wallet providers in the world.
Scammers are sending fake emails that look official, urging users to complete a security update. These messages ask users to click a link and enter their seed phrase— the 12 or 24-word recovery code that gives full access to your wallet.
Let’s be clear: You should never share your seed phrase with anyone — not even Ledger. No legitimate company will ever ask for it via email, website, or support.
So why is this dangerous?
If someone gets your seed phrase, they can instantly empty your wallet. It doesn’t matter how secure your device is — that phrase is the key to all your crypto. These phishing campaigns are designed to create panic, tricking users into thinking their funds are at risk unless they act immediately.
Ledger has already warned users not to respond to these emails and to **double-check all communication** through their official website or app.
For new crypto investors, this is an important reminder:
Security is not just about technology — it’s about staying alert.
Crypto gives you full control, but that also means full responsibility.
