Arthur Hayes Predicts Bitcoin to Hit $1 Million by 2028 Amid Global Economic Shifts

Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, has projected that Bitcoin could soar to $1 million by 2028. He attributes this potential surge to factors like capital flight from traditional assets and the devaluation of U.S. Treasury holdings. Hayes believes that such economic conditions will drive investors toward decentralized assets like Bitcoin, positioning it as a preferred safe haven.

In the short term, Hayes anticipates Bitcoin reaching $250,000 by the end of 2025, citing increasing market liquidity and potential pro-crypto policies.  He also notes that a break above $110,000 could trigger an altcoin season, though he cautions that only projects with strong fundamentals are likely to benefit significantly.

While Hayes maintains a bullish long-term outlook, he acknowledges the importance of strategic trading, indicating that he might short Bitcoin during its ascent to capitalize on market volatility.
